What we do

Driveways, patios & everything around them

From a new block-paved drive to a whole back-garden makeover. Designed with you, then dug, laid and finished by the same small family team.

Resin-bound driveways

A smooth, seamless finish of natural aggregate bound in clear resin. Rain drains straight through, so it suits front gardens and keeps puddles away.

Porcelain patios

Hard-wearing, stain-resistant and easy to keep clean. Laid on a full mortar bed, with neat, narrow joints and a gentle fall so rain runs off.

Indian sandstone & natural stone

Riven or sawn sandstone for patios, paths and steps, with the warmth and natural variation that only real stone has.

Drainage & dropped kerbs

Slot drains, soakaways and permeable surfaces, so rainwater goes where it should. We can help with your council's dropped kerb application too.

How it works

From first visit to finished drive, in four steps

No pressure and no surprises. You'll know what's happening, when, and what it costs before we lift a single slab.

  1. Step 1Survey

We come out, measure up, check the levels and drainage, and bring samples so you can see the colours in daylight. Free, with no obligation.

  2. Step 2Quote

A clear written quote, itemised line by line, with a drawing of the layout. No "today only" prices, so take your time.

  3. Step 3Build

We dig out, lay and compact the sub-base, then lay, cut and finish. Waste goes in our skip and the site is kept tidy as we go.

  4. Step 4Aftercare

A final walk-round together, a simple care guide for your new surface, and we're only ever a phone call away.

Good questions

Before you get a quote

The things people usually ask us at the survey. Anything else, just give us a ring.

Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?

Usually not. In England, if you're paving more than five square metres of front garden, the surface needs to be permeable, or drain onto a lawn or border. Otherwise it needs planning permission.

Resin-bound and permeable block paving are made for exactly this, and we'll plan the drainage at the survey so you don't need to apply.

Can you help with a dropped kerb?

Yes. A dropped kerb (vehicle crossover) is approved by your local council's highways team. We'll help you with the application and lay the new driveway to line up with it.

How long does a new driveway take?

A typical driveway takes around four to seven working days, depending on its size, access and the weather. Your quote includes a start date and a realistic timeline, and we'll keep you posted if the weather moves things.

Block paving or resin: which is better?

Both are great when they're laid properly. Block paving comes in loads of styles and single blocks can be lifted and relaid. Resin-bound gives a smooth, seamless, permeable finish.

We'll bring samples of both to the survey and talk it through with you.
